On Bank Holiday Monday (26th August) three of our ladies took to the hills outside Canterbury for the Canterbury Half Marathon. Katie McCarter ran a PB in 1:52:57, Jo Faux wasn’t far behind in 1:57:11 and Helen Weeden completed the trio in 2:33:48. Last Sunday (1st September) Steve Hickman completed his 87th marathon running the Kent Coastal Marathon in a time of 4:15:59. Only another 13 marathons to go!! So a big well done to Steve and the ladies, especially Katie for a PB on a very tough course!
