Two of the club’s runners braved the mud of the Ditton Turkey run on Sunday. Run on an off road course of 6.7 miles, Mark Attenborough was first home for the club, coming home in 76th place out of 489 finishers in a time of 52:33, while Stu Nunn, now in training for next year’s Brighton Marathon, finished in 97th place in 55:09.
At the latest Ashford parkrun, Trevor Kay was first of the club’s runners home with a 3rd place finish and a new personal best of 17:45, followed close behind by Dan Green in 4th place and 1st MV40 in 18:33, with Paul Moses 6th and 1st MV50 in 19:59. Shane Dragwidge was 14th in 21:17, Scott Lynch was 15th in 21:33, and Christine Costiff was the 1st lady home and broke the WV55 course record in a time of 21:35. Terry Sellen finished 19th in 21:59, Mark Attenborough 26th in 22:31, Andrew Taylor 27th in 22:37, Will Whittington 40th in 24:24, and Mark Carlton 41st in 24:37. Claire Green finished as the 6th lady in 24:43, Simon Jackson came home in 26:40 and Steve Hickman in 27:20.
