Sunday 5th July was a busy morning for A&D club members. The club more than supported the Find A Voice 5k taking place at Ashford Rugby Club. The majority of us marshalled but we also had a few runners taking part. Jon Wells, on his first race in club colours, finished 2nd in an impressive time of 19:00. Deborah Hainsworth was first lady in a PB time of 25:06 and Andrew Smith completed the course in 26:48. Thanks to all club members that gave up their time to support this local charity event!

Also running that morning were Anthony Brown and Rhian Shrimplin who were taking on the Bewl 15, a largely off road race on the undulating hills around Bewl Water. Anthony finished 151st just beating the 2 hour mark in 1:59:59 and Rhian wasn’t far behind in 2:10:25!
