Chris Valdus was the lone club representative running in the Medway 10k at Gillingham last Sunday. Not only was the course long and also unforgiving in places but Chris finished 2nd and only 10 seconds behind the winner in a time of 37:56!

We should soon have the results from the latest leg of the East Kent Relays run at Victoria Park, Ashford last Tuesday. Just like to say that the turnout was very good indeed, both runners and marshalls, as were the performances. A big thank you to everyone!

Lastly the Ashford Park run, also at Victoria Park, has proved very popular of late with club members. This is run on Saturday mornings at 9.00am, is free to enter, and open to everyone. Last weekend Rob Carpenter (19:18), Dean Bracken (20:07), Keith Haynes (21:12), Lisa Bracken (25:33) and Julie Foster (27:13) all ran with Dean posting a PB!
