Mid Kent 5 Miler

Simon Jackson knocked an impressive 3 minutes off his personal best in the Mid Kent 5 miler on Sunday. Simon came home 109th in a time of 41:34 on the fast 5 mile course around the quiet lanes of Staplehurst. Robin Butler was first home for the club finishing in 22nd place in 32:15, Ben Smith winning 1st Junior in 33:43 and Terry Sellen trimming 2 minutes off his personal best as he came in 77th in 37:37. Stu Nunn, followed up his good run at the Rye 10k last week with another personal best as he finished in 92nd place in a time of 39:58.  Steve Hickman, slowly coming back from injury came home in 44:33, and Andrew Smith finished in 46:21.

Jon Wells continued his excellent form in 2016 as he won the Cranbrook 5k on Friday night. On a hilly course, Jon came home in a time of 20:02.

Julie Foster took part in the Great Newham 10k run on Sunday, and in hot conditions, she finished in a time of 1:04:00.
