Boxing Day saw the club’s runners take part in the popular Saltwood Boxing day charity run, a 3 mile off road muddy course. First home for the club in a field of over a 1000, was Dean Bracken who finished in 30th place in a time of 19:44, followed in by Julius Sampson who came in 39th in 20:08, Jon Wells 44th in 20:10, Stu Nunn 177th in 25:02 and Steve Hickman in 394th in a time of 30:44.
At the Ashford parkrun on Christmas Eve, Robert Latala came in 1st place in a time of 17:04, followed in by Daniel Green in 4th in 18:11, Robert Carpenter in 9th in 19:41, Keith Haynes 17th in 21:02, Mark Attenborough 18th in 21:11, Terry Sellen in 21:37, Christine Costiff in 21:42 (4th lady), Claire Green in 23:59 (7th lady), William Whittington in 24:40, John Fidge in 25:09 (1st MV60). Simon Jackson finished in 26:27, Andrew Smith 28:50, Ann Fidge in 29:00 (2nd in age Category) and Nigel Costiff in 29:26
At the Ashford parkrun on Christmas Day, Robert Latala finished in 1st place in a time of 16:21, with Trevor Kay 4th in 17:59, Paul Moses 12th in 19:29 (1st MV50), Robert Carpenter 21st in 20:26, Danyel Giles finished in 22:18 (7th lady and new pb), Jonny Wells came home 38th in 23:19, Julius Sampson finished in 23:54, Simon Jackson in 26:23, Kevan James in 27:56, and Claire Green in 28:51.
At the Rutland water parkrun on Christmas Eve, in very windy conditions, Cj Lattimer was 2nd in a time of 18:01 and Jo Lattimer was 6th lady in a time of 22:58.
