Ideal conditions for yesterday’s A20 Path n Downs Half Marathon and Marathon in which half a dozen eager club members took part. Katie McCarter and Helen Weeden ran the half marathon after cheering on the men who departed an hour earlier. Both ran PB’s; Katie in 1:45:10 and Helen in 2:00:38. Sometime later the men returned; Rob Butler finished in 3:20:18, Neil Buckley in 3:38:18 (PB), Chris Boyce in 3:44:32 (PB and his first marathon) and Steve Hickman (marathon no. 92) in 4:02:36! Some great times by everyone and some good laughs had by all!
