TREVOR WINS STELLING MINNIS 10-KAY ;-)

The Stelling Minnis 10k – Sunday 13th May 2018
 
Ashford & District’s Trevor Kay stormed to victory at the Stelling Minnis 10k in a time of 36m:50s finishing 40 seconds ahead of the rest of the field on Sunday. Ryan Edwards dipped under the 40 minute mark in a time of 39m:43s to finish 6th overall whilst Rob Barton crossed the line in 41m:50s in 13th.
 
Elodie Paviot continued her great run of form with another personal best to add to her collection this year finishing in 46m:56s (43rd). Neil Woodham completed the course in 48m:54s (57th) with Mark Boorer just behind in 50m:48s (74th). Jaclyn Kay was next up in a time of 55m:41s (104th) with Keith Lynn in 56m:05s (107th) and Trevor Sparkes, in his 1st race for the club, finishing in 56m:33s (112th).
 
Bewl Water Marathon & Half Marathon – Saturday 12th May 2018
 
Rik Holden took on the undulating Bewl Water Marathon and completed it in a time of 3hrs:53m:40s. Meanwhile Christine Costiff and Gill O’Connor ran the Half Marathon, both finishing in 2hrs:00m:53s.
 
Alton 10 Miler – Sunday 13th May 2018
 
Steve Hickman travelled to Hampshire for the Alton 10 mile road race finishing in a time of 1hr:29m:28s.
 
Ashford Parkrun -Saturday 12th May 2018
 
It was an A&D 1,2,3 at the towns parkrun on Saturday as Robert Latala won in 17m:23s followed by Tomasz Latala in a personal best of 17m:48s and Dan Green finished 3rd in 18m:53s.
 
Paul Moses was up next in 20m:06s (7th), Scott Lynch in 20m:12s (8th) and Keith Haynes in 20m:41s (11th). Mark Attenborough crossed the line in 21m:21s (17th), Rob Carpenter in 23m:15s (31st), James Chapman in 24m:03s (49th) and Terry Sellen in 24m:10s (51st).
 
Claire Green was 1st lady home in 24m:20s (52nd), Filiz Salih followed in 25m:18s (64th), John Fidge in 26m:30s (79th), Keith Lynn 26m:58s (90th), Mark Boorer 26m:59s (91st), Trevor Sparkes 27m:11s (96th), Shelly Blake 31m:58s (165th), Lesley Moody 32m:10s (171st), Becky Hodgson 32m:21s (173rd) and Emma Jenkins in 34m:57s (208th).
 
Meanwhile, around the country…
 
Philip Bridges completed the Canterbury parkrun in 26m:19s (41st) and Rachel Jenkins ran the Bedgebury Pinetum parkrun in 59m:08s (159th).
