London Marathon 2022
It’s been a long time coming, but Julius Samson achieved that well deserved sub 3 hour marathon time. A personal best time of 2:59:41 was reward for the determined training regime and battles against injuries.
Nick Collins ran his fastest London Marathon in 2:35:26 even he struggled with a cold during the preceding week and terrible stitch during the race. Paul Ridley also getting over a cold and stitch during the race completed in 3:08:34, not the time he was hoping for, but a very impressive run by anyone’s standards. Recent races have seen a pleasing return to form for Andrew Noble, Andrew smashed out a good for age time of 3:09:13.
Scott Lynch ran a controlled race posting negative splits for each half, also presenting a good for age time of 3:19:38. Great preparation for the New York Marathon later this year.
